Dina Kalo

Edinburgh Artist & Illustrator

Website currently under construction.

Dina is an Edinburgh-based artist working across digital illustration and painting. She particularly enjoys the directness of oil pastels, which allow her to focus on observation of faces and living things.

Drawing is central to her style, with descriptive and drawing-like brushwork. Rather than focusing on the narrow path, she has experimented with multiple disciplines, blending them into a personal style built up over the years.

Realism is at the root of her work and she is increasingly interested in allowing metaphor and imagination show through.

She is currently developing new work and seeking opportunities to exhibit through open calls, competitions and gallery exhibitions.
